An active actor and writer, Jim's
performed in numerous plays in New York in such Off-Broadway venues
as The John Houseman and INTAR theaters. As an improviser, he began
with
Possible Side Effects, a troupe he
co-founded in college that performs weekly in NYC. With PSE, he's
toured colleges across the country, opened for "Weird Al" Yankovic,
and developed two
television pilots. Also, their
first independent film
Reality & Stuff was picked up for
national distribution.
He recently completed a sketch show,
The Incorrigible Mr. J, which he
co-wrote with Matt Donnelly and Rebekka Johnson. The three performed
the show to sold-out houses and extended their run twice at the
People's Improv Theater (PIT).
Jim has appeared in Microsoft's
online series
ESP Billy, in numerous commercials
(including Scene It?, IO Digital Cable, and Comedy Central), TV
pilots for MTV, Broadway Video and The N, and on MTV's Damage
Control. He performs improv regularly at the
PIT and
Magnet
Theaters, and played on the
Upright Citizens Brigade house team
Optimist International. He does a killer Bill Cosby impersonation.
